At DriveLink Network we believe that training and development is critical to the success of our business. The transport and logistics industry is heavily regulated and we appreciate how difficult it can be for everyone to keep up to speed with the ever changing legislation. We believe very strongly that we have a responsibility to protect our customers and provide candidates that are properly equipped to meet both the legal, procedural and customer service requirements of our clients.
To ensure we have a comprehensive and effective driver development programme, we have joined forces with Direct Driver Training, a fully accredited training organisation with a national presence all of whose courses have been accredited by the Royal Society of the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

There is now less than a year for LGV drivers to complete their 35 hours of approved training. Data from the DSA indicates that the number of drivers who have so far attended at least one driver CPC course is far below expectations and there are still 97000 who have yet to start. Leaving the training until the last moment may lead to drivers not being able to register their 35 hours of training before the deadline. Drivers not having a Driver Qualification Card (DQC) by the September deadlines could be fined £1000 if they continue to drive on company business
Driver CPC should be more than just a box ticking exercise, we offer a range of modules that can improve your level of skills and knowledge, making you more marketable. Please contact your local branch to discuss the right CPC training options for you and the benefits of sourcing your training through us.
