Meeting Your Exacting Standards
Establishing customer needs to deliver the "Right driver for the Right job".
- Drivers must be a minimum of 21 years of age for non-HGV drivers and 23 for HGV drivers, for insurance purposes
- We require a three-year history of prior employment & audit this through referencing
- Drivers must complete & pass tachograph and hours regulatory tests, and supplementary tests on Multidrop and Class 1 working
- Drivers are required to carry their licence with them at all times & we carry out a quarterly licence check
- We have a dress code: collar and tie or polo shirt, working trousers (NO jeans) and safety footwear. Drivers can supply their own work wear, but we encourage them to wear our own DriveLink uniform
- In addition to ensuring that drivers meet your expectations on appearance, attitude and knowledge prior to submitting them as suitable candidates, our unique driver-testing programme enables our customers to be actively involved in driver selection, testing and training. We call this program DAFT: Driver Assessment & Familiarisation Training.
- The driver is supplied for one day, FREE of charge, and is subject to satisfactory assessment and familiarisation for your specific needs
- Whilst the driver attends the assessment and familiarisation programme their salary payments are met by DriveLink
- The programme enables drivers to be fully productive from their first live shift, ensuring you get full value for money
